Pump stations

Cost-effective, reliable, and energy-efficient pump station solutions

Together with our supply chain partners, we offer a great range of cost-effective, reliable, and energy-efficient pump station solutions that include intelligent monitoring and control components which enable operators to minimise water loss and operational costs.

Our pump stations are used to distribute and treat raw, drinking and non-drinking water, collect wastewater and sewage and distribute recycled water.

The assets we provide are designed to SA Water’s industry leading Technical Construction Standards for pump stations and the accompanying Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) Codes. This means that you can be assured that the assets we provide will continue to provide excellent performance under the most demanding conditions for future decades.

Our water intake and distribution solutions include:

Booster systems

Booster systems that combine multiple pumps in on plug-and-pump setup. Piping, wiring, assembly and system configuration to meet your specific requirements are performed by our technical team.

End suction pumps

Multi-purpose end-suction pumps suited to a wide range of applications that demand reliable and cost-efficient supply.

The pumps are all non-self-priming single-stage, centrifugal volute pumps with axial suction port, radial discharge port and horizontal shaft.

Vertical in-line pumps

Vertical in-line pumps are all single-stage, in-line centrifugal volute pumps with standard motors and mechanical shaft seals. They are close-coupled, meaning that the pump and motor are separate units. Consequently, the pumps are less sensitive to impurities in the pumped liquid compared to similar canned rotor pumps.

Multi-stage pumps

For applications where a high head is required compared to the flow, we supply industry leading multistage pumps that are at the heart of pressure boosting systems around the world.

Splitcase pumps

A great range of splitcase pumps that are renowned for delivering high efficiency performance and low life-cycle costs.

The highly reliable hydraulic design combined with the service-friendly layout of the splitcase housing assures maximum benefits for the user.

Submersible pumps

Submersible pumps are suitable for distributing subsoil water, stormwater, sewage, grey water, black water, trade waste, rainwater, bore water, chemicals and foodstuffs. Different designs are used for different applications, which include closed impellers, vortex impellers, contra-block impellers, single channel impellers, multi-stage, cutter, or grinder pumps.

Made entirely of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, submersible pumps are ideal for a wide variety of applications.

We supply submersible pumps that offer high efficiency, high resistance to sand and other abrasives, motor burnout protection, and easy maintenance.

State-of-the-art pump supplies Yorke Peninsula

At Kainton Corner, the booster pump station, in-line with the Upper Paskeville water treatment and water pump station, feeds the entire water distribution network to the south of Yorke Peninsula. Having delivered great performance for decades, the asset had reached the end of its life with civil and structural elements in poor condition, and electrical and mechanical infrastructure in need of upgrade. In late-2019, Water Engineering Technologies was charged with delivering a turnkey pump station solution to replace the aged asset. The scope of works spanned the specification for the new plant, all electrical, mechanical and control works, and construction, operation and maintenance of this essential asset.
